Diya Yang (1996-) is a native of Luzhou, Sichuan province. She studied the Guqin under the tutelage of Mr. Zeng Chengwei, a contemporary Chinese Guqin master, and was deeply influenced by both Buddhist and Taoist cultures, so her understanding of art is mostly based on musical and religious backgrounds.
